Dr. Bonnie Lee, O.D., BSVS
Dr. Lee started her practice in the St. Vital Mall with then Shopper’s Optical in December, 1999. She enjoys providing thorough, comprehensive eye care for patients of all ages and has a special interest in primary care optometry and ocular disease. She enjoys caring for her patients and ensuring they have an understanding of their eye health, as well as their options for vision correction and/or treatment of eye disease.
Dr. Lee grew up in Sioux Lookout, Ontario and is a alumnus of the University of Manitoba.. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL in 1998. Her training included rotations at the Hot Springs VA Hospital in Hot Springs, South Dakota and the Illinois Eye Institute. After graduation, she worked at Stein Optical in Waukesha, Wisconsin before returning to Canada.
Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with her husband, Rob and son, Jack who keeps her extremely busy.
Dr. Leanne Soronow, O.D.
Dr. Soronow joined our practice in June 2012. She graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2002 and then went on to complete a 1 year residency in Family Practice Optometry at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry.
Dr. Soronow enjoys working with patients of all ages but has a special interest in ocular disease.
Outside of work, she enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time with her two children.
Dr. Allison Low, O.D.
Dr. Low received her optometry degree from the University of Waterloo. During her time in the program, externship opportunities led her to Vancouver, BC and Salt Lake City, UT to expand her clinical experiences. Prior to that, Dr. Low received her Bachelor of Science degree in medical biochemistry from UBC.
Dr. Low was born and raised in BC and, while she will always have an appreciation for the west coast, she is looking forward to calling Winnipeg “home”. She has an admiration for the local arts and foodie scene, and can be found exploring these areas during her time off. Dr. Low could not be happier to meet and get to know the patients at the St. Vital Vision Centre.
Dr. Tyler Anderson, O.D.
Dr. Tyler Anderson graduated from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry and Vision Science in 2012. During his final year Tyler saw hundreds of patients in various settings including pediatrics, low vision, contact lenses and in a fast paced medical setting/disease focused rotation at the Jesse Brown VA hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Tyler has a special interest in the diagnoses and treatment of children and adults with reading and eye teaming difficulties.
In addition to his Doctor of Optometry degree, Tyler has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science and a Master of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, both from Brigham Young University. Tyler also speaks fluent Tagalog, is a certified PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, and has a minor in Ballroom Dance.
When Tyler isn't seeing patients he enjoys spending time with his wife and six young children, camping, and dancing.
Dr. Ali Syed, O.D.
Dr. Syed is originally from Winnipeg. In 2012, he graduated from Optometry school at City University London, UK. Dr. Syed completed the International Optometry Bridging Program from the School of Optometry and Vision Science at University of Waterloo and then returned to Winnipeg for his clinical externships in 2016. Dr. Syed clinical interests are in ocular diseases and contact lenses. He is passionate about providing the highest quality of eye care to all patients and welcomes patients of all ages.
Outside of work, he likes travelling and loves exploring different countries and cultures with his wife. He is also an avid hiker and loves sports.

Our front staff are happy to assist you from start to finish. They will book your appointment, help process your insurance or payment and answer any questions you may have throughout your visit at our clinic. They are also specially trained to conduct a series of pre-tests prior to your exam with the doctor.
